The long-established Vascello del Monsignore vinegar facility, in via Cà di Sotto 5 in Cervarezza Terme, producers balsamic vinegar and simple wines or wines aromatised with herbs, honey and rose petals. The most important product is the “Il Principe Nero” (Black Prince) Vinegar, also known as the Stravecchio Tradizionale of Cervarezza Terme. Only Reggiana organic grapes are used to make the vinegar, without preservatives or caramel, and following the 18th century family recipe.
You can use the camper rest area, but you cannot park in the grounds: instead, overnight stays are possible in the nearly council carpark, within walking distance of the facility. Please contact Dr Irene Melloni first (333/9509250). Water and electricity facilities are not available.
What you can do
You can enjoy free guided tours (minimum 2, maximum 30 people), and tasting sessions. English is available for the tours where requested. Booking is essential.
