The Poggiolo vinery in the splendid hills of Salsomaggiore Terme, in the hert of the Stirone Valley. The wine production started in the early 1950s, when the company started to grow grapes on clay-soil land, growing the Barbera, Bonarda, Cabernet, Chardonnay, Merlot and Malvasia di Candia varieties. Care in working methods and respect for the land create a rich product of flavour and bouquet, with a perfect phenolic maturation and a good balance between acidity and sugars. The countryside around the Poggiolo is also simply breathtaking.
Camper services
Overnight stays at the Poggiolo are not possible, but daytime rests are permitted on request. Our members can get a 10% discount on products sold in the company shop.
