Le ClosBlanc Winery is located in the municipality of Jovençan 5 km from Aosta and is located at an altitude of about 600 meters .

This winery was founded in 2009 with a production of about 11,000 bottles; and if previously grapes were given to other producers, currently its production has about 20,000 bottles.

The vineyards are in plots divided between the municipalities of Jovençan and the nearby Aymavilles and the production of this winery ranges between red wines, some of which are autochthonous and white wines.

The climate of this part of the Aosta Valley, the terrain and the altitude give the wines of the Alberto Blanc winery a color, a flavor and a characteristic scent, which differs from that produced in the flat areas.

Wines produced in the cellar

Among their native reds, whose strains were born in the Aosta Valley and are not found in any other area, we point out the Vda Cornalin PDO, the vda Fumin PDO and the vda Petit Rouge PDO.

Other red wines produced here are the vda Merlot DOP and the Vda Pinot Noir DOP from non-native quality, while among the white wines we work the vda Muller Thurgau DOP and the vda Chardonnay DOP.

Since 2013 Le Clos Blanc Winery, with white grapes, also produces a sparkling wine: the “Réflì” and a red table wine “La toûpie”.

For these wines the grapes are all from Aosta Valley vineyards and are produced almost exclusively by the company. Alberto in fact buys only a small part of white grapes from a local producer. And while the production of red PDO and table wine is made entirely in the company, for the processing of sparkling wine we turn to a winery outside the valley.

Alberto Blanc, as a lover of his own land, is part of the association “Viticulteurs Encaveurs Valdostana”, which in 2022 became the Consorzio Produttori Vini DOP Valdostani. He participated in some events promoted by Chambre and Eataly, in addition to the competition “Los Angeles international wine & spirits competition” with good results for their wines. presented.

The camper stop in Le Clos Blanc Winery is possible in the large car park, where you can park up to 8 campers, without connections and possibility of loading/ unloading water.

Inside there is a tasting room where you can taste the wines produced.

On request, it is also possible to stay in some rooms for those who want to stay on site.

The nearest point where you can load water and discharge waste is in Aymanville in Frazione Chef Lieu, 24. At the roundabout with signs for Cogne, on the right there is the paid camper parking, and the free unloading.

How to get to the cellar

Exit the A5 at Aosta Ovest and take the signs for Aymanville. In Aymanville at the first roundabout take for Jovençan, and arrived at Frazione Pompiod pass the intersection with the sawmill; ahead 200 meters, at the sign of Pompiod end, find the cellar on the right.
