These are just two of the questions that are constantly asked on social networks and in Google searches in these days, so we would like to offer some suggestions:
In camper for the holidays
As you already know, Emilia offers cities full of art and museums, and now before Christmas there are also the Cribs to visit: we should also consider the rich network of Castles in our area, which also offer some interesting possibilities for Christmas activities. But today we would like to suggest the spa network of our area, perfect for relaxation during the holiday season.
Wellness at the Spas
You cna choose:
the Salsomaggiore Spa (PR): the Wellness Centre of Terme Berzieri is open from 26 December to 6 January, from 10am—6pm (except New Years Eve when it closes at 4pm, and New Years’ Day, when the Spa is open from midday to 4pm
Spa at Tabiano (PR): At the Respighi spa, you can relax with inhalatory treatments and relax with your children. Open from 27 December to 6 January, from 8am-midday and 3-5pm, closed New Years’ Day
You could also try the T-Spatium relaxation centre at Tabiano, open from 27 December to 6 January all day.
There is a camper rest area at Tabiano, where campers can park near the Respighi Spa. You can visit the welcoming local producers or enjoy tasting sessions in the town, but we advise booking and presentation of our membership card. Please check the Parma Producers section.
If you are close to Parma, you can also enjoy the Monticelli Spa, an entire centre dedicated to relaxation in the middle of a splendid park. The pool is open from 26/12 to 06/01/2019 from 10am-7pm. You can park your camper in the Spa park carpark.

Other camper destinations for the holidays
Is there anywhere you can park your camper for Christmas?
Camping Schia at Tizzano in the Parma Appennines offers an evening of music and food for New Years’ Eve, with a rich menu of both meat and fish dishes. In the event of snow, the campsite is perfectly positioned for the ski pistes, or you can enjoy walking excursions.
Camping Le Fonti at Cervarezza in the Reggio Apennines, 500m from the Cervarezza Spa. An ideal place to take the children for the holidays or New Year: but you must book because it is always full!
Camping il Faggio at Ramiseto in the Reggio Appennines, ideal for a relaxing break, is deep in the woods with splendid panorams to enjoy. The campsite has a small relax zone with a sauna, and is next to the restuarant and mountain refuge. From here, you can leave for excurions to Calamone Lake and the Appennine peaks. If it snows, you are in the perfect place to reach the skilift.
Il Parco dei Castagni campsite at Montecreto, this time in the Modena Appennines at the skilift for Monte Cimone, a genuine paradise for skiers. This campsite is in a centuries-old chestnut park not far from the town centre, and during the holidays, there are discounts available for the skilift and two very rich menus for Christmas and New Year.
