The Cav. Ilari Alberto Ham Factory is a family-run business that produces a range of meats, including Parma Ham. The passion of brothers Luca and Andrea for the production of Parma Ham has now lead to the creation of guided tours, such that groups of visitors can learn about the quality of this prize meat, indicated by the double-crown mark.
up to 20 campers can park in the grounds, but you must book. You can connect to electricity supply points, or discharge/refill your water.
What you can do
guided tours of each productions stage, from meat selection to final working, for groups between 2 and 120, with a tasting session at the end (5 euro a head)
English and French spoken in the groups up to 15 people (free), or for groups of more than 15 (on payment).
