From 14 October to 11 November 2018, Calestano (in the Parma Appenines) will host the National Fair of the Black Truffle of Fragno, an event that celebrates this precious and appetising vegetable from the Baganza Valley.
It aims to promote the black truffle, both at a gastronomic level but aso at a cultural level. The programma for the fair is extremely rich this year, organised as ever in partnership with the Council and local community groups.
On Sunday mornings, there will guided excursions by Terre Emerse (part of our membership benefits) to help you learn about the area, and spend a few hours in peace and tranquillity. There will be truffle sellers, and gastronomic stands, you can have lunch in the local restaurantsm and there will games and entertainment for younger visitors.

The Council has offered an illuminated rest-area where you can refill (but not discharge) your water, in the workshop area of via Partigiani d’Italia.
